SERVICES & MAINTENANCE

We offer full planned preventative maintenance support with regular scheduled visits to ensure that the BEMS is fully optimised and maintained. Service, support and maintenance of any building energy management system is fundamental for its operation and performance.

We have a team of dedicated engineers providing reactive, preventative and energy based activities and we follow up our attendance with robust reporting and subsequent remedial proposals within 24 hours of our engineer’s attendance.

Our energy based maintenance activities are driven by the consumption of main plant and seasonal trends for hours run operation we ensure that the BEMS system is functional as well as looking at the efficiency of the services.

    Job Title: Site Engineer (Skill Shortage)

    Responsibilities: As a site engineer, your input to construction projects will be technical, organizational and supervisory. You’ll set out and determine the location for infrastructural installations, both above and below ground, and will apply designs and plans to mark out the site. You’ll also share responsibility for site security, health and safety and the organization and supervision of material and human resources. Projects can range from small scale to large scale and include building projects. Working as part of the site management team, you’ll work alongside and liaise with Architects, Construction Managers & Engineers, Planners, Subcontractors and Supervisors

    As a site engineer, you’ll need to:

     

    ·         Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives

    ·         Setout level and survey the site

    ·         Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

    ·         Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications

    ·         Oversee the selection and requisition of materials

    ·         Agree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project

    ·         Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect

    ·         Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project

    ·         Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws

    ·      Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep   them informed of progress

    ·   Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any    subcontractors – this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects

    Responsibilities: As a Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that a building project is completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget. Managing the practical side of every stage of the build, you’ll work closely with architects, surveyors and other building professionals in planning and delivery. You’ll also supervise and direct a range of operations on a construction site and ensure that all tradespeople and contractors are working together to an agreed plan and that progress is being made. You may oversee a whole site project.

     

    You’ll typically work in residential commercial infrastructure environmental.

     

    As a construction manager, you’ll need to:

    ·         Plan and coordinate a project from start to finish, including organizing the schedule of work, costing and budget

    ·         Plan the work and oversee the buying of necessary materials and equipment

    ·         Hire and manage staff for the project

    ·      Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking             materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control

    ·         Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress

    ·         Check design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers

    ·         Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed

    ·         Write reports

    ·         Maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project,      i.e. stakeholder management

    ·         Communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and others involved in the project

    Skills and experience required:

    ·         Construction Managers must remain organised and focused on the project while dealing with failure, risk and chaos. They use a blend of   project management, business acumen, risk assessment and financial administration to get the job done.

    ·         Ability to multi-task and handle multiple construction projects, meet tight deadlines and coordinate with other Construction Managers      on the job

    ·         Understand construction technologies and methods, interpret contracts and technical drawings and read blueprints, up-to-date building    codes and construction practices

    ·         Strong analytical mind for cost management, procuring materials and disposal of construction waste

    ·         Adept with specialised industry software for cost-estimating, planning and transporting materials and inventory

    ·         Strong communication skills to lead a diverse team and the ability to explain blueprints and technical documents

    ·         Expert use of the Construction Industry Scheme(CIS) from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs

    And Capital Management software, strong IT, maths and book keeping skills

    You will be paid a salary of at least £32,000-£40,000 depending on experience. Senior and chartered construction managers can earn in the region of £50,000 to £85,000.

    Duties of the job: The role will involve applying widely agreed software engineering principles and

    methodologies to design, develop, test and maintain Software’s and applications to achieve the stated

    business and technology goals within required budgets and timelines. Oversee the quality of work,

    making sure that it meets the technical standards for all services output.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·         Design and develop reusable libraries and APIs

    ·   Design and develop software that is amenable for a greater automation of build, release testing and deployment process on all   environments

    ·         Drive the reuse and sharing of platform components and technologies within the software engineering teams

    ·         Deliver software components to enable the delivery of platforms, applications and services

    ·         Write unit and integration tests, in automated test environments to ensure service quality

    Skills required:

    The successful candidate will need a strong background in software engineering, software design or

    database design and architecture, as well as extensive experience of developing software in a SOA or

    micro-services paradigm. We also require development experience in a programming language,

    experience of using industry recognised frameworks and development tooling, and a background of

    implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, availability and performance.

     

    Further skills needed:

    ·         Experience with JavaScript, Node and React

    ·         At least one software development language (Java, Scala, Python, .Net etc.)

    ·         Experience working on Frontend technologies (eg: React, Angular etc)
